Status of the Brier Facility

When it comes to facilities, The Vine church has been incredibly blessed. While some churches need to spend a considerable amount of their budget on a lease or mortgage, we fully own two facilities. The one we currently worship from is on Bothell Way in Kenmore and the other is located in Brier, WA. Our Brier facility is currently being leased to Brookview Church, which is gospel-focused, desiring to serve the communities of Brier and Mountlake Terrace.
Leading of God
For the past few years, the Elders (ILT) have been keeping an open ear to God’s leading, as to how best to steward these facilities. Through much prayer and conversation, the elders believe God is leading us to sell the Brier facility to Brookview Church. This decision to sell was confirmed last summer by a vote of the elders and church membership in favor of the sale.
Status Update
Brookview Church was pleased to hear of the favorable vote, and is excited about purchasing the property. Currently, Brookview is continuing to lease while working out the financing necessary to purchase. Their hope is to have everything in place to purchase the building by end of 2018. The verbally agreed upon purchase price is $650,000, a number derived after consulting multiple sources regarding the fair market value of the property.
Please be in prayer for God to continue leading in this potential sale. Our hope in the end is to have two healthy and growing churches worshiping in both Kenmore and Brier.
